Quality Blog! Looks to have a lot of hard work put into the creation of your masterpiece Merlot!
Good luck to you in CR.
Supposed to be the Latin Switzerland so no revolutions, and all the good food!
Enjoy! |

I have 2 friends who spent some time there. One swears he's going to live there permanently some day - and he's serious. I'd love to go some day, but now that I'm married probably isn't going to happen. Too dangerous. What non-Korean place isn't?
Have fun. I'll live there vicariously through you. |

I like your blog.
And a good music selection for each page!
Reading your blog reminded me of how I felt during my first year or so that I spent living and teaching Asia. It was a great time. One of the best periods of my life.
Costa Rica sounds interesting.
Enjoy the ride! |

There was a girl poster on Dave's... who was it?.... who left Korea to teach in Costa Rica. She posted thereafter and loved it, but didn't consider the decision very rewarding financially. Indeed, I seem to recall her saying she couldn't make enough to live there and felt that was a damnable shame. That sounds not so unlike Korea when I got here. Sometimes it's hopeless, sometimes success just takes longer than we can or want to wait. I hope that you find the venture a profitable one and wish you the best of luck, Merlot. |
Well, I'm not sure if that's me . But I'm in Costa Rica. Yes, it's true that yoy can't make any money here, which is why I'm teaching on-line to Koreans! I can't escape Korea. Believe it or not the food is better in Korea and I miss the Noraebung. Fruit is good and cheap so I suppose that makes up for something. See you in Costa Rica Merlot! |
