Just wondering some of your opinions on teaching the kids of different age grps as I'm not too sure what would suit me best.

For example, how does the teaching, classes, planning, expectations and workload vary between kindy,7-10 year olds, teens etc..Generally.

Thanks.

if you teach at a hagwon you'll get kids aged 3-15! sometimes you'll have to go from a class of 5 year olds to a class of 12 year olds. just to warn you. teaching public school would of course be different but i dont know what it's like. all i know is teaching little kids is tiring because you have to constantly discipline them and entertain them. older kids arent as tiring but sometimes they just ignore you and continually speak korean in class, etc. 8-9-10 year olds are probably best because they have a better memory (when it comes to discipline) and they're actually still scared of you and don't ignore you. good luck!

It all depends on you. Some people (like me) like teaching teens and some (not like me) like teaching kindy.

In Korea class size and work hours also play into it. Teens-only are good if you're OK with classes of 12-50 and working 8.30/9.00am to 4.30 / 5.00pm. Kindy is better if you like little snot-nosed deamonic monsters in classes of 1-12 mid-morning to early afternoon.
