...is it hardest to pick the best album from their back catalogue (hope ive phrased that right).
For me its ATCQ by a long shot, especially between thier 2nd and 3rd albums but the fact i love 'Scenario' edges me towards Low End Theory.
EPMD and Das EFX are also a tough one to call. |

I think it would very hard to pick an album from EPMD's catalogue. I guess what makes it so tough is I haven't heard a single f*cking song from them and I don't know what EPMD stands for. Really makes it hard. I guess I would choose their seminal work Phatty Bass-O-Matik N Da Streetz. But again, that's a tough call because an album with such a name might not actually exist. |

You're having a hard time picking the best Das EFX album?

It's all about consistency. I think p. diddy has been consistently bad, so I have a very hard time picking the best album from his back catalogue. |

How can you choose something whose existence you aren't actually sure of?
Interesting metaphysical concept there and, like you say, a ruddy bloody tough call indeed.

ok
which hip hop act is it hardest to distinguish their best album, from among their entire back catalogue.
i gave epmd and atcq as examples because their albums are relatively close in terms of overall quality

GDXQ without a DOUBT. I don't care if they're not black, their stuff is without a doubt the shiznit. I couldn't pick their best album if your life depended on it. Really. You'd be dead. |
