in experiences of the people who have lived in or around seoul...what are the areas that people have enjoyed?

and name two great things appeciated about the area.

NOT near KyoDae Station! What a crap hole! Terrible traffic all the time, expensive rents, and LOUD! Worst place I ever lived in Seoul.

You could do worse than around Olympic Park and Chamsil. It's spacious, not so overcrowded, good spot just to take a stroll, good restaurants, pretty good for shopping, fairly clean for Seoul.

That's the best area I can think of to live in Seoul, but it's not a great party area. The best party area in my opinion is Shincheon, near Yonsei university. Four big universities around there, it is crowded, but has a fun vibe, lively, thousands of college kids who seem generally happy and friendly.
