Has anyone else noticed a slight similarity to the current middle east conflict in episodes 1 and 2? Terms used a lot so far include insurgency, suicide bombers, held in detention without trial, etc etc. It just seems like the writers are really trying to push a viewpoint, or are just too lazy to come up with an original plot.
Anyway, Starbuck looks fracking hot with long hair so I'll keep watching till she gets it cut again.

Honestly, this is the dumbest godd*mn thread topic I can think of. how many weird ass permutations of "so what's your favorite TV show" are we going to have to through? We've got "Battlestar Galactica 2004" and "Damn you Battlestar Galactica." How about we do "Battlestar Galactica shortbread recipes" and we can write "you need to regulate your baking soda usage" and "the extra ingredient is love" |

Or I could just start a thread as an excuse to post pics of myself in various poses. Go to sleep little baby, it's late. |

It was done intentionally. It's been in progress since the first two seasons began. The writers, producers, and directors have have gone to great lengths to allegorically represent the plight of humanity in relation to today's current events. That's why the show is winning awards and making a splash like the original never could.
