My Apple Airport Express (wireless router) just went to the silicon grazing grounds in the sky after two years of loyal service. I've been told at the nearest Apple outlet (Linko's, in COEX) that they cannot even order one for me. I even showed them Apple's Korean website and showed them exactly what I need online ("Whole country, all sold out!" Yeah, whatever, pardner....).

So. I need to saddle up and find new router. I really liked the Airport Express because I could stream music wirelessly from my Powerbook to my stereo (via the A.E., which has a connection to the Audio In jack). A great feature that I miss dearly. But apparently I can't get one, so I'm faced with buying a regular router - something about which I know nothing.

This cowboy needs some tips on how to choose a good router. How much will I be looking at spending? Are they all Mac-compatible and easy to set up? Is it possible to find a non-Apple device that will allow me to stream music to my stereo?

(OR - does anyone happen to know where the Cowboy can go to find another Airport Express?)

You can't go wrong with a Linksys WRT54G wireless router. I've had three in the past several years, none of which have broke (two are with family members) and all which have been problem free. I don't have experience with this router on Apple computers, so google it to double check.
