Look, I know you can get imported food in Seoul. You can get imported food in Namwon! Some very tasty New Zealand cheeses at the Emart. I'll be up in Seoul at the weekend and will check out these places, time permitting. From Guru's photos the aisles look similar to those of the foreign supermarket in Taipei 101.
Back to the main topic. Anyone spotted a Japanese car ad on Korean tv? |

Sure. I see Lexus and Infinity ads on daily basis. Why? |

Sure. I see Lexus and Infinity ads on daily basis. Why? |
Case closed then. I haven't seen any Toyota ads on Korean television whereas in Taiwan they were one of the first things I saw on the box. You've shot down my thesis that it was a Korean auto industry protection measure. |

Betcha if Taiwan made cars they wouldn't be advertising Toyota as much...
edit: oh, Taiwan does manufacture cars ho ho oops. But you know what I mean. |
