Does anyone have any advice about investments in Korea? I figure that it's about time to start making my money work for me, but I don't know much about the system.

You might consider going to your local Nong Hyup Bank and asking about investing in one of their programs. They have a number of investment schemes going.

Just my two sense, if you are at all risk averse, figure out a way to bank on an index fund based on the korean market movement as a whole. Not exactly free of risk, but Korean companies are not exactly known for their transparency.
