| Ask your Korean collegues for recommendations. And, yes, it's about 1/2 the price of the States. |

I found this message about 2 years ago and saved the info.
Still haven't done mine yet, but still plan on doing it.
Bucheon Eye Clinic
"had it done in Bucheon 5 months ago at Bucheon Eye Clinic by Dr. Park..he, and the staff, were wonderful and I have been 100% pleased with the results and the attention I have received from them. I went to several places in Kangnam that were recommended but never felt comfortable with the doctors nor staff...Dr. Park is well known and is up to date on equipment and procedures..cost 2.2 million...give them a call at 032-328-7511"
Let us know? |

I had lasik done about 5 months ago at a clinic in Shinchon. Its great. Its cost 1.8 million. If I had known how much it would have changed my life I would have easily paid double for it.
I would link you to the thread that I posted on, but my computer mouse is broken so I cant copy and paste. Just look through my previous posts and you will see the post and a video of someone getting lasik. |

In Canada I can get the surgury done for $1600cdn for both eyes, so it seems like it would be more expensive in Korea. Plus I can finance here.. But I'm leaving in 2 weeks for Korea. |

I had Wavefront Lasik surgery done over Chuseok. It was 2.4 million won.
The clinic (very popular) is at exit one from Kangnam station. I'm really glad I did it. No more glasses!!.
PM me if you need more info. |

I had laser eye surgery done. I opted for PRK because I wanted to stay active in my crazy ass sports.
Lasik really shuts a lot of doors on certain adrenalin based activities. Scuba, Para/chuting/gliding, full contact martial arts etc..
PRK on the other hand doesn't but it is slightly more painful(discomfort)and your healing process is much longer b ut the results are just as good or even better. |

| Actually, my wife entered a contest and I got a million won discount so I only paid 1.4 million. Yes, at full price it is probably cheaper to do in Canada. But are you there now? |
