Hello! I am trying to adapt my cooking to Korea and what they have in the stores here. And of course the lack of an oven situation. Does anyone have any good tips or recipes or links to previous threads on this subject? Would be much appreciated.

thanks!

try recipezaar.com.

You can do a lot to narrow the search results to ingredients, equipment, etc. Really handy for those of us cooking in adverse conditions.

I made these two the other night and they were delicious! Just put the chicken in a skillet instead of the oven.

I used two cans of green beans (available at costco and sometimes Homeplus). Use about half the oil. I served them hot. Use about 3 cloves of garlic chopped as fine as possible. Really tasty!

Just do a search on google for Korean recipes and you'll find a motherload of 'em. Also, if you know a specific thing you want to cook do a search for it and you'll find lots of stuff.

www.allrecipes.com is a good place to start.

I also cook a lot of stuff with eggs...crepes/pancakes/french toast/egg sandwiches, etc. The variations are endless.
