October 21st at Club Drug (DGBD) from 10:30pm.

This will be a CD release party featuring the best bands in Seoul. The CD is a compilation of original music across many genres and really highlights the quality of music in Korea now.

7 bands will be playing: Chester Story and the Glory, The Waking Party,
Sunradio, Suck Stuff, PlasticDay, The Mustangs, and Maek Bak.

Also included on the CD are Jet Echo and Command 27.

Come down and support local music. You get a free CD!

I wouldn't call it the biggest event, but looks good.

Suck Stuff and MR27 just got back from China where they dominated the Chinese punk scene. They're going to be on fire now.

How much is cover?

I think cover is 15,000 won. Thats a little more than regular shows but includes the 'free' CD. Anyway, it's going to be an awesome show at one of the coolest, best sounding venues for live music in Seoul.

15 000 is very fair for a free CD.

First time I ever gave a post a "bump". Always thought this bumping business was a bit desperate but here we go....

Thanks to the person who supplied that link, but I can't find a map on there. So I was just checking if someone could roughly let me know which part of Hongdae Drug Club is in?

Normally I'd just go and ask around, but I'll be wanting to arrive and go straight there with no potential confusion.

Cheers.

Closest thing to a map I could find. Note that you want DGBD, not the club labeled Drug here, which is really Skunk Hell.

Sounds like a worthwhile show, but rather far from my place. Might be tough to get home. Smile The late start time could be a problem for some people.

It looks to me like an all-nighter. Everyone goes home at 5:30am.

I tried to link the map from the official daum cafe site here but couldn't do it.

Anyway, go to http://cafe.daum.net/dgbd, click 공지사항 입니다 at the top of the menu on the left then click DGBD 찾아오는 길.

Here's the most accurate map you can find, traced directly from Google Map images.
