It�s the Democrats chance to take the majority in both the house and the senate, and put an end to the extreme right-wing agenda of the Bush Administration. Make your voice heard register and request a ballot for voting today! Here is help for voting abroad:

If you voted in �04, but have not requested or received your�06 General Election ballot, visit www.VoteFromAbroad.org to review state deadlines. If you voted in �04, you may still request a ballot in all states but Texas (wouldn�t you know?)�but don�t delay. Visit www.VoteFromAbroad.org to request your ballot today.

So how am I supposed to receive the blank ballot and return it in time to meet state deadlines? Democrats Abroad presents you a great opportunity to do just that. Just follow these simple steps; please read on.

1. If you voted in 2004, you are already registered. Visit www.VoteFromAbroad.org today request your general election ballot. When you complete the process, sign and fax it to the toll-free number for your country, available at 00798-14-800-5748. Follow up by mailing the signed hard copy.

2. The wizard at www.VoteFromAbroad.org also produces the Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot. Follow instructions to vote your ballot; for the name of your Democratic Congressional candidate. Then place the voted ballot in a blank envelope (your �security envelope� and seal; place the security envelope in an outer envelope, which you should address to the local election official at the address provided and mail.

If your official state ballot subsequently arrives, vote the official ballot and return it. Election officials will replace the write-in ballot with the official ballot. In the event that the official ballot does not arrive in time, your write-in vote will be counted.

I could technically vote only if I flew to the U.S. I was thinking about voting, because I am a dual citizen, but they wanted the ballots sent back by a certain date, and you cannot simply get a ballot from the embassy and mail it. At this point, if someone didn't get a ballot, it is too late, from what I have seen.

Use a Write in Ballot...

If you have registered to vote, before your state's deadline (or haven't registered, it might not be too late! check www.fvap.gov/pubs/ocgendeadlines.html ) but have not received your absentee ballot, use a write in ballot.

Just visit www.VoteFromAbroad.org & print out the Federal Write in Ballot. Write the names of the Candidates you are voting for (DEMS Please!) and mail into your state election office. More details can be found at the website.

My vote doesnt matter since I live in Texas and my congressional district has been gerrymandered to protect the incumbent (hes a good democract, Lloyd Doggett). I'll vote the govs race (thank god for Kinky)

What we need is competitive races and the only way we are going to get that is to stop having party hacks draw the lines and eliminate the electoral college.

Then again I have a better chance of getting a Korean ATM card that works internationally than that happening.

BTW it looks really good for the Dems now IF they dont blow it for the House.
