This event occured a few weekends ago on a sunny Sunday afternoon at Sindorim Station in southwest Seoul.

So, I get off the subway and step onto a crowded outdoor platform. I mean there was people everywhere. As I'm walking towards one of the exits, I see what appears to be a very old shorter Korean woman.

She begins to squat down and I start to see the old wrinkeled skin from her lower back. I figure i'm about to see a case of plummers crack and I chuckle to my self.

BUT THEN, to my horror the old adjumma starts to pull down her pants and I see her old, flat, bruised, and wrinkled azz.

I try to look away, but I just couldn't stop looking.

Then it gets worse!

The granny proceeds to place a small paper cup under her "anal region" and takes a $h!t.

ahhh.....................

So I look around me and I see another woman who unfortuately witnessed the same act, and her face represented pure confusion and more confusion.

I mean this was at like 2pm on a crowded outdoor subway platform!

I was just as confused and walked down the exit stairs and didn't see what happened afterwards to the old woman.

Now, I don't want to make too much fun of the adjumma because she's probably mentally ill. However, while i've seen some pretty crazy things in my life, i've never seen aything like that.

I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go.

I thought using a paper cup shows an admirable sense of community responsibility. Kudos, old lady.

On at least three occasions in the last ten years or so I've witnessed senior citizens defecating in public. All three times were in Pusan, and happened in areas just adjacent to the little adjoshi guardhouses in front of the big apt. complexes.

I remember something similar from the Mass Ave area of Boston.

She was a crack addict taking a dump beside a busy street. I tried not to look but the shock of me made me do a double take.

Then she started shouting at me and waddling up the street with her underwear around her ankles. horrible stuff.

Sh1tting into a paper cup can't be an easy task. Respect those aiming skills!

once while walking back from a museum in nyc, i saw a lady go to a street garbage can, pull out a fast food cup and stick it down her sweatpants and she sorta squatted a bit and peed into it

one of the most bizarre things i've ever seen yet

I had a similar experience in Cheonan. I was waiting on the platform with a friend of mine and an old ajumma next to us dropped her drawers and starting pissing right there on the platform. I was shocked enough by this. I can only imagine the horror if she had taken a dump.

Saw a young-ish woman (30s) do the same thing (sans paper cup) on a sidewalk in Daegu a few years back.

Not exclusive to Korea, for a change. Witnessed a similar ajuma-type taking a dump on a beach in Thailand. Said to my Thai wife (partly in jest), 'Must be a Korean'. She replied, 'No, Cambodian.'

I don't think I've ever seen someone in the act, but I know there's one free-crapper out there who stole a pine sappling I'd planted. It was alongside a road in a fairly rural part of Seoul, only thing around was a bus stop shelter some distance away. I planted it, went back I think the next day, and... no tree. Just the whole it had be yanked out of, a plastic shopping bag, and a big human turd. Kinda sapped my Arbour Day spirit. Sad

I know a way-gookin who SAYS if he gets bad service anywhere--bar, restaurant, clothing shop..., that he returns late at night and takes a dump on their door step. It may be true.
