|

Greetings fellow ESL teachers.
I have had a very successful eight months at my first Hakwon in Busan Korea, but I think it's time to move on when it's up in late February.
I'd like to start around March 15 to have some chill time but I'm a little flexible.
Who can help me find a good job for my second contract? (Actually, third, I did a winter camp, too).
Since I am a musician, (drums, guitar, trumpet, mandolin, synth) I was hoping to find a job incorporating music, but on the other hand I also am thinking of going the UNI root.
I have an impressive resume and a good reference from my current and former employers. Nothing says Korea is the only place I would go...Quality of life is my first priority, followed by decent pay. Southeast Asia?
("Quality of life" pretty much rules out split-shifts, crappy directors and coworkers, unfair pay, bad apartment...you know, all the normal stuff people groan about around here).
Anybody that helps me find a really GOOD job I'll Paypal you $250 when I sign.
PM me if you like but I'll check back here to.
NO WET BLANKETS and NO RECRUITERS.
This board is full of 'em.
Here's my site. I'm serious about the $250.

I'm with you Trevor, there are a thousand jobs, with new ones opening everyday and it's hard to weed through it all. I keep thinking I've decided on a contract, then I learn the place is shady, or the pay is too little, or they won't give me vacation time. Quite a burden !
Good luck.
(That was worth at least $5, right. lol) : |

I have a friend who plays in a couple of bluegrass bands in Pohang. I dont know the area, the bands, or even the foreigner music scene in Korea, but thats my two cents.... |

See what I mean about the wet blankets?
There really should be an emoticon for it.
