Does anyone know of a template or easy to use site that will help me create my own (maybe just one page) website?

Template depends on the Goal.

Is it a still website or will it be dynamic.

A lot of questions need to be answered before anyone can advise anything Smile

Do you want to use CSS or just normal HTML? (and a million other questions Wink )

CSS = cascading style sheets. It's one page that contains all the formatting for your website, for example all of your <> HTML tags, like tables or lists. It makes it really easy to change your website quickly by changing things in just one page of code, instead of the entire thing. I don't know how much you know or how far you want to take it. I can try to help with any questions though.

If you know nothing about building a web page then use Yahoo. They have a web builder that is very easy to use. Anyone can build a web page there....I mean anyone.

is pagemill still being distributed?

frontpage is evil - it'll bloat your code and not do what it should do. Avoid frontpage at all costs.

... I don't think I've ever seen a dynamic website that is one page only. Also, whether it's css or html probably isn't going to make much of a difference in this case.

If I were you OP, I'd fork out %60 for a template off templatemonster.com, and another $7 a month for hosting off whoever.

But yes, please tell ... what's your website going to be about ?

Webpages tend to grow, and then most people wish they had planned ahead of time Smile He says one page now, but...

At this point I'm trying to set up an "internet company" in Korea (that is not really an internet company, but no need to get into that right now). All I need is my own domain and a page that I can put images/text on.

Money is not the biggest concern, but user comfort is. I would love to have a blank page (similar to word or something) and be able to drag text and pictures around.

Anything out there like that?

Hmmm...check out my page at http://www.ralphsesljunction.com . That is done in CSS format.

Then check out http://www.thesabiofamily.com . This page is done using basic HTML through Frontpage.

The easiest? Frontpage.

I have my domains hosted through Directnic.com . Reasonably priced, never down, and have never had a problem. 5 years strong now.

Very true. My professional site was only supposed to be 2 or 3 pages. Now look at it.

For drag and drop facility, check out the Yahoo Developer Libs.

... your gonna have to know what you're doing though though, if you want to tweak the code to your own specs. If it's only one page, it might be worth your while getting a professional developer to do it for you ...
