Hey just a question regarding the VISA and ARC card. I'm going to China for the holiday but I don't think my ARC card is a multi-entry. What do I do??? |

You have 2 choices.
1) stop at the immigration office and get a re-entry stamp in your passport. You need your ARC, your passport, an application an 30k won for a single re-entry permit or 50k won for a multiple.
2) stop at the immigration office at the airport on your way out and get a re-entry permit. YOU will need your ARC, your passport, an application and 30k won. They only issue single re-entry permits at the airport.
This applies for most but NOT ALL nationalities.
exceptions:
Americans MAY have a multiple entry visa.
Brits have to apply but the fee is waived. (free).
If you are travelling by boat instead of plane then you MUST get your re-entry stamp at the local immigration office.
Do you have your entry visa for China?? |

I have an Australian Passport so hopefully everything goes ok. My travel agent is arranging my Visa to China.
So is the immigration office where you check in your stuff or is it after you get inside???
Thanks |

Your ARC is never for re-entry purpose.
You need to get a multiple-reentry visa, which has already been explained to you. |

Can you get the application online? If so, does someone have a link? Thanks! |

Here is the link to it on the Korean immigration website; http://www.immigration.go.kr/indeximmeng.html
Just click on 'Download Forms' on the left hand side, click on number 22 on the list, 'intergrated form'. Then, all you have to do is either click the 'total application' pdf file or click the print button.
This a multiple form to apply for 10 differnt things. Just check off number 8 at the top of the form for the re-entry visa and fill out the rest of the information. |

Us Brits don't get any of our pension back, so I think we deserve a little something in return.
Anyone else find that pension business a complete con? |

If you think it is a con, you should blame your own government. They are the ones who signed the treaty.

Oh I'm well aware of that. I'm not blaming anyone except the governments! So I appreciate Korean immigration going easy on us in this case. |
