Hey guys!

Just wanted to know if there is anyone interested in playing street hockey on Sunday's in Suwon ? I figured that since there a lot of Canadians and Americans over here, that some of you may want to join us. We have been playing there for a long time, however, not every weekend and the summers are too hot. We usually start playing these days in the fall. It's fun and doesn't cost a dime, except for a stick. But we have lots of extra sticks if you dont have one and we have nets built plus the goalie equipment. You can bring whatever equipment you like though. There are a bunch of regulars who show up, but for the most part, it's guys who come and go. Which is understandable. Although it'd be nice to have a half decent sized group who would tun out on Sunday afternoons.

It's a fun workout and all you need is a pair of sneakers and like or love hockey. There must be enough Canadians out there to get a great game of street hockey going Very Happy

We have tournaments too with teams coming up from Busan, Ulsan etc. Sometimes we visit there to play as well to be fair.

Also, we MAY, not sure yet, be able to book a gym in Seoul for floor hockey. So if we get enough regulars that may be a possibility. If anyone knows of a gym or another nice place to play, please let me know. Most guys are from Seoul and would be easier to travel within the city itself.

I think floor hockey is one of the best and cheapest ways to exercise and its really awesome, especially if you dont want to spend the cash or time to go all out and play ice hockey.

Anyway, just contact me here if youre interested and want some info!

Thanks!

That would be cool.

There's already Koreans who play roller hockey in parks here, i.e. Olympic Park in Jamsil but if you could find a Y that would let you rent out space, that would an idea. There's one in Pundang at Ori Station and several foreigners live down there.

Well, I already play roller hockey with some Koreans. However, we're just looking for players for street or floor hockey not roller. A lot of foreigners over here probably dont have roller hockey skates and equipment. Plus, street/floor hockey is much more cheaper and easier to play for people who don't want to invest a lot of money or time into.

We arent really worrid about where to play just yet, its getting more people first to ACTUALLY play. That's why I'm asking on here to see if some guys would be interested. All are welcome!

First, the Oilers have the best ice in N.H.L.

Second, does a Yank with more than ten years sans skates and a stick fit into your group's plans?

What we need to do is find somewhere in DAEGU to play ball hockey and/or street hockey. It's killing me...I need to stickhandle. The need is in my bones.

I'd love to play but I am down in Jinhae so I don't think I could make your games. Anyone in the Changwon/Masan area wanna play? We could make the occasional trip north.
