Hello Girls,
I'm thinking of organizning another Ladies Lunch before everyone jets off on winter vacation and I leave Korea forever.

Here's some suggested dates for the next month are:

Nov 11/12
Nov 19
Dec 2/3

My preference is for the weekend of Dec 2/3 as it's far enough in advance for everyone to clear out their calendar

Also Venues:

We could go back to Petra's/Thai Orchid.

However I've been hearing good things about Buddha's Belly in the 'twon. And we haven't yet tried out, Santorinis. But if anyone knows of a cheapish venue, with a good atmosphere for talking and can fit about 20 in central Seoul please suggest.

So please let me know on this thread

1. Preferred date
2. Preferred location/suggestion.

EDIT: Also please feel free to bring along any non-dave's posters.

Edit 2 Ladies new to Korea, don't be shy and come along. These lunches are a great chance to meet some new friends!

Yeah I'll set up a reservation when I get an idea of numbers (they do reservations).

i think Dec 2/3 would be good for me.

(i'll also need directions to whatever place you pick. i've only been to seoul a few times.)

i can't commit 100% (i'm having some medical issues -- my lungs are making noises and stuff -- but i hope to have it all cleared up by then. my first appointment at Gangneung Asan is tomorrow. wish me luck!), but if i were to go to one of those, it would be the december one. i'll update you all after my doctor's appointment.

I would love to come in again, might bring another girl but the Aussie girl felt lonely and ran home.
Dec 2nd is good for me and I love Santorinis, they do some awesome but horribly expensive lamb chops!

Hey all,

I know that I said I would attend the last two and I couldn't make it either time. However, this time I will DEFINITELY come. I am making it a priority. Just name the time and the place and I'll be there. Thanks for the invite.

My weekends are pretty clear because I'm bad at planning ahead. Too bad about your friend, Liz. She was very entertaining at the lunch at Petra's.

I really want to go, but I can't make it to either November 11/12 or to the December 2/3... going out of town both weekends.

I should be able to go if it's on the weekend of November 18th, either the Saturday or the Sunday. May bring a friend too.

I've been to Santorinis and loved it! Anywhere else is fine with me too.

I'd prefer a Saturday, but Sunday is fine so long as it doesn't clash with the book exchange Sunday. Never ate at Santorini's.

What time is the meet?

Dec. 2 or 3 works for me ( I have to do chae-sa for my FIL around that time, but I'll double check when it is- I think it's the last Sat. in Nov, but I'm not good with the lunar calendar..). Thanks for organizing the lunch again, CLG^^

P.S. I don't care where we eat =)
