Hiya,
I foolishly only took 1 converter plug when I came from the UK.
This is now a pain, because I cannot recharge batteries or shaver at the same time as using my laptop (which always needs mains power now!).
Can anybody help with advice and guidance as to what is the best option?
1) Can I buy a converter without travelling to an airport? or
2) Could I buy a power lead that fits into the clover-(3)leaf female socket on my laptop brick?
3) Do I ask family to post out a UK multi socket extension?
Thanks in advance for any guidance,
Ken |

I would guess that your laptop is 220v. ready (check the back for power specs), so just buy a new cable. Cheap and readily avaliable anywhere. As for your shaver, well, mine is old as old and it works with 220v. . Most shavers are travel-ready and have a multi-volt feature. Again, check the specs online or on the unit, but you may only need a new cable.
Anyhow, with your laptop sorted, you will have freed up the converter to be shaver-only, so problem solved. |
