this is a great idea. i already have pets, and couldn't find room for more. but if any foreigners are looking for pets, this would be the best place to go.
i imagine they'd also be looking for willing helpers and donations!

I agree, a good place to get one...
I've been wanting to get a cat here, but since I probably won't be here more than a couple of years etc... you know the rest.
Just out of curiosity, does anyone keep a cat or even a dog in a 'one-room' apartment? If so, how is it ? |

I don't live in a one-room anymore, but I have for about 15 months of my stay in Korea. The first five of those were with me and a dog, the other 10 were with me, a dog, and a cat. It's not so bad. The cat was actually for the dog (for company, not a play toy, FYI). It wasn't a problem for any of us. Totally do-able. |

I was thinking about fostering animals. I want to adopt one but I might leave SK in 14months. I have a one room + (hall && kitchen) and I was wondering what kind of dogs I can offer to foster. Back in my country a one room house is quite rare and I never lived in one.
I know that I can foster small sized breeds (like Cocker Spaniels and Pekingese) what about the medium sized breeds (like Malamutes and Rottweilers)?
Of course the place is definitely not large enough for say Irish Wolfhound or Great Dane or English Mastiff (Mastiff) |
