Hi,
Does anyone know if its possible to reset (or restore to factory settings) the internal wireless card of a Dell 1505. I can't connect to the internet properly and have 'experimented' with different settings and the connection is getting worse/less frequent....
Anyone?
Thanks... |

I suppose you could go in the System section of the control panel and uninstall the driver. Go to the hardware tab and enter the device manager button.
Or go into the run box ( press start, then select run) and enter this:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc
This is a short-cut
Left click on your WLAN card (under network adapters) and select uninstall, the computer would then reinstall the drivers automatically or you could do it manually. I don't know if this would work.
Wireless is an awkward technology at the best of times and there are a lot of crap routers and network cards out there. |
