Who Is Your Favorite Comedian? I'm looking for some new laughs.
I personally like George Carlin and Chris Rock, but would like to discover some new artists. |

In my humble opinion, George Carlin is the best stand-up comedian of all time! |

Dylan Moran is a scream (stand-up or in Black Books), Rowan Atkinson, especially in Blackadder (the last 3 series, not the first one), and I've been downloading a British radio show called "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" - it's an absolute riot - very witty. |

Try Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg or Jeffery Ross. Stay away from Dane Cook, he's awful. |

I'm enjoying Craig Ferguson, Lewis Black and Russel Peters a lot these days. Check you tube and ask Sparkles.
Russel Peters- Outsourced
Lewis Black- Live at Carnegie Hall.
Ferguson has the late late show. |

Jay Leno wouldn't normally make my top 10 but I'm watching "stupid 911 calls" right now and I'm totally pissing my pants- look for it within 12 hours on you tube. |

Lenny Bruce and Ricahrd Pryor are pioneers; their material may be old but they never stop being funny. By far the best. Without those two it is unlikey the others would even exist. Lenny Bruce especially paved the way for the comedy that we no enjoy. |

I've been huge into Jon Stewart for the past while, I just hit up youtube and watch Daily Show clips. Utterly hilarious. I can't even watch guys like Letterman anymore without getting bored in comparison.
Chris Rock is always funnier than sh*t, but I've already seen just about all his stand up stuff more than once... I'd like to find some new stuff, but don't know where to look. |

Richard Pryor=stand-up GOD
Chappelle.
Dat Phan is the funniest Asian comic I've seen. (screw Margaret Cho)
I just became a new fan of Aries Spears after watching his Comedy Central stand-up act
The guy does some great impressions. |

I agree with all you guys who said George Carlin. He's the master. Also, the old stuff from Bob Newhart and Bill Cosby from the 1960's and 70's. That stuff is beyond classic. Oh, and for all you folks of Scottish heritage.... the great Billy Connolly. Some of his skits on his drunken nights in Glasgow are just hilarious. |
