I've been using a couple P2P programs, and sometimes I can get what I want, but sometimes I can't. Kazaa and Shareaza seem so useless these days. A good one I've been using is called 360Share, which I got by signing up with the top-rated site in this link:
http://mp3review.info/?OVRAW=MP3%20download&OVKEY=mp3%20download&OVMTC=standard

In the review the site is called MP3-Freebie, but in the end the program you get is called 360Share. I paid a one-time fee of $23. Then I also signed up with another service on the list, also for about $23 (I think it was the second one on the list but maybe the third), and what I got was a program called 360Share Pro. As far as I can tell it's the same damn program. I felt annoyed that I was tricked into paying twice, but I've been using 360Share for several months and am quite happy with it.

Anyway, I'm not able to get everything I want, of course. I'd love to be able to buy MP3's from Bugs Music but I'm not sure if it's possible for a foreigner to register with that site. (If it's possible, tell me.) What I like about Bugs Music is its great selection, it offers 1-minute song previews, and it offers 320kbps files.

What's the best non-Korean website that offers a comprehensive selection of music and higher quality (at least 192kbps) MP3 files? I'm NOT interested in iTunes... I just signed up and found out their songs are MP4's, which are not universally playable.

Thanks, I'll check those out.

I'm also wondering about the best pay site(s) that has a huge selection and 192kbps (or better) MP3's. Not everything can be gotten for free.

But often free sites have unreleased material etc that is unavailable on commercial sites.

I just set up Limewire. When I started a search all of my unfinished downloads from 360Share popped into the "downloads" box of Limewire! Limewire looks like the same thing as 360Share but with a slightly different look. All of the controls and menus seem to be the same!!!

That's right, but on the other hand there are things you can't get on a free site that you can get on a pay site.

Maybe Limewire isn't exactly the same as 360Share. I was just able to download a couple songs that I wasn't able to get on 360Share for the past couple days. (It's possible it was just my timing, though.)

I'm still wondering if anyone knows a good pay site besides iTunes. Is there anything as good as Bugs Music?

I use www.forumempire.com extensively

Under the forums the posters provide links to rapidshare or megaupload where you can download the stuff

Its good for more than just music...there are many audiobooks to download too...and ebooks and movies and so on
