specifically from the Daejeon Costco.

I read over in buy and sell that someone (q....a) bought frozen salmon at in Daejeon.

Care to tell me where in Costco I can find frozen salmon? Like which frozen cabinet?

Seoul seems to have a bigger selection than down here.. we don't even get Ben and Jerry ice-cream.

Help? Laughing

I've seen Kirkland brand "Chilean Atlantic" salmon (farmed) in the freezer section by the other frozen seafood and fruit at the Costcos in Seoul. (I know that doesn't help you, sorry Embarassed ) It comes in a big bag though (I think it is blue and black), not wrapped so you can see the salmon, maybe that will help?

Yeah I bought some from the Daejeon Costco last year. It comes in a big blue bag, near the rest of the frozen seafood.

I wouldn't eat that "Chilean Atlantic" Salmon if I were you.
Read this...

Emart carries frozen salmon, with equally fishy labeling. The box itself is worth the cost -"British Columbia Salmon from the fresh clear Atlantic waters."

Interesting read about the Chiliean salmon.

Since Korea and Chile have a free trade agreement, it seems likely that most/all of the salmon here is from Chile.

That's too bad, because the salmon fillets from the supermarket I've only recently begun enjoying are something I'll certainly give a second thought to in the future.
