To the guy from the Philippines who sent me a pm about drums: if youre coming to Seoul, theres Nagwon Market (near Jongno-3-ga subway station), but sorry, I dont know any websites for buying drums. Theres mnshome.com, but I dont think they have drums. And anyways, Korean distributors pay 20% import duty on anything imported, so there are no bargains to be had here. Why dont you post your pm to me as a question in this forum? Im no guru, and someone here is likely to know better than me.
(soundcard still up for sale or trade! ) |

| Would this soundcard be good for eliminating lag from my midi device? |

When you say "midi device", do you mean: 1) external hardware device, or 2) software device [eg. VST instrument]?
1) nope
2) quite possibly!
Hope that helps a bit. |

Should say 'latency' rather than 'lag' from the hardware piano, then midi converter into usual sound card on PC.
Does the soundcard have any support to plug some Boss and JBL speakers (that I scabbed for free) into it? Or do I need a seperate amp? |

Lag, latency, it's OK, I know what you meant. ^^ This soundcard wouldn't play much of a role in a hardware setup.

This is the part of your last post I'm having trouble understanding. Usually getting MIDI into/out of a PC requires an interface for that purpose. Most of these are USB these days, and are often combined with sound cards (but not this one) or controller keyboards.
Anyways, no, the sound card isn't an amp. If you have active speakers you're fine, but you would need a separate amp if those are passive speakers you've found (not sure 'cos I don't know what you have). |

| Universal ASIO Driver: http://www.asio4all.com <--- these drivers bring almost any soundcard down for negligible latency for software applications i.e. Reason, FLStudio, etc. Doesn't help much for recording audio though. Tweek away! |
