www.auction.co.kr
This is the Korean version of EBay and in my opinion much better.
2 ways to buy:
1: straightout buy the price listed
2: post a bid on the item
Cool way to pay:
--the item comes to your house and you check it out..if all is good then you go to the web site and click "okay". Then the company gets their money..if it is not okay then send it back and you haven't paid for it. |

not quite.
Auction.co.kr has been around since '99-00(?), and was only bought out by eBay after they were well-established in the Korean market. They have not changed anything since the buy out: main-site eBay IDs do not work with this site. You have to sign up with a totally new account, and none of your transactions are related to your main eBay activity. |

I fail to see how what you said contradicts what I said...why quote me?
The system is better in one aspect..you can check the product before you complete the purchase. This eliminates the problems that Ebay has, namely incorrect advertising or outright lies. |

You said it was the Korean version of eBay. It's not. It's a wholly-run Korean auction site who just happened to be owned by eBay. eBay is 100% hands-off, except for grabbing up profits.

I agree. Plus the ability to pay for things through bank transfer within Korea makes purchases very easy as well. No CC or Paypal to worry about. |

Thanks for the info. I never used the service because I always considered it unsafe. Now I may give it a try if I can check out the product before I pay. Could you please post a link where it states that policy (try before you buy). Korean language is ok. |
