Just looked at the Korean Air website, & the cheapest internet fare is over 1.1 million won for a flight on December 29 Seoul to Bkk, & returning to Seoul on 14 January 2007. I've x posted on Lonely Planet, but have had only 1 reply. (O replies on the NE Asia branch)
Are Air Asia & Air Macau viable alternatives? Looked at Thai Airways but their fIgure is 1.7 million won. Business class only available for one sector with a stop in Hong Kong. Any other ideas? |

You kind of left it a bit late.
You might be able to get a flight through Cathay via HK or try http://www.whypaymore.co.kr/ .
They are still showing flights via EVA and China Air for less than a mil. routed through Taiwan. |

I've heard a Russian airline Владивосток Авиа (Vladivostok Avia) are now operating Seoul Incheon to Bangkok NONSTOP starting from December 1, 2006.
It runs 3 times a week, I think close to your dates of travel.
Flight Number XF737 ICN-BKK 1805-2135
Flight Number XF738 BKK-ICN 2240-0650
Any travel agent should be able to book you a seat.
Other than that I'd try CHINA SOUTHERN (via Shanghai), CATHAY PACIFIC (via Hong Kong) or sometimes Korean Air and Asiana do have extra flights to Bangkok from Busan and Daegu, if everything from Incheon is booked out. |
