A man at Incheon airport yesterday tried to charge me 30,000 won for a 10,000won limo bus ride into the city. I told him oh no and that I know better...hehehe...newbies take heed!!!

And watch out for the ubiquitous taxi driver willing to take you downtown for 50,000 - 80,000 won! They will lie and say there's no bus running then, at 6 am, even as one passes by. Incheon airport and the Busan ferry terminal have the most cunning cabbies of the whole sorted lot.

Oh yeah, they'll also lie like the shits they are about how much the road toll was as well.

One of those "friendly" taxi drivers tried to pounce on me, too. When I said I was taking a bus and giggled, he giggled, too, because he knew that I knew he was trying to rip me off. Last year, I DID take a taxi from Incheon back to my apt...but that's only because I wanted to. It's Ok, if you don't mind paying 90,000+. Otherwise, stick to the buses! They are always going!
