I have two friends of mine coming to visit tonight who have been living in Tokyo for a year. I know enough Korean to converse with taxi drivers, but they will not know anything. I don't have Korean on my computer, so I can't even write out a feeble attempt for you all to rip apart, and we all know how much you get ripped up when you try to romanize what you're trying to say, and don't spell it "properly".
What I need is to write a short note to give to them in Korean, that says how to get them back to my station. I usually say "Sincheon yok jusayo" and have to usually follow it with "Jamsil-Sincheon" so they don't confuse it with the Sinchon near Hongdae.
Can anyone write this out for me in Korean so I can copy it and give it to them to keep with them while they explore the city?
Greatly appreciate the help folks - my Korean spelling is atrocious so I need some help
Thanks!!! |

Babel fish alta vista?
Like Japanese, Koreans structure their grammar with the verb last, as in "I food eat" Alta vista will not fix grammar but it's mostly intelligible. |

Thanks for the help so far guys!
I know about how the grammar is structured, but I usually can just speak to them, and kind of figure out what they are saying in person, but where I won't likely be there, and they know nothing, I wanted to be able to write it down for them. It's mostly the spelling I'm not so sure of (in Korean). |

Hmmm
Just tried Babel fish & it only translates English, not Korean Place-names:
Sincheonyokjusayo 에게 나를 데려가십시요 Jamsil-Sincheon
The Korean bit is "Take me to"
Don't forget to go to view, encoding, & change to Korean (& back to Western ISO, when you've finished)
You could wade through this site & write out each letter by hand
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangul
S.I.N.C.H.E.O.N etc
I know the s is: ㅅ
I is a straight line that even looks like an I (ㅣ)
& the n is a right angle shape: ㄴ
& so on. Looks like #1 reply is on the money with 신천역에 가주세요
I can now recognise the first 2 blocks of tri symbols as 'Sincheon'. The 2 ㄴ's, are the 2 n's in Sincheon. |

Yea, you have to say 가주세요 (kajuseyo) instead of just 주세요 (juseyo).
If you say Sincheon Yeok Juseyo, that means "Give me Sincheon Station please." If you say ______ Kajuseyo, it means "Take me to ______" |
