I personally am tired of hypocrite politicians preaching morality and then getting busted with hookers and drugs, so I think having a porn star in elected office would be a refreshing start.
If a porn star gets elected as a Republican, it will greatly increase the average morality of the Republican Party. |

Yes, I would support a porn star running for political office, as long as their outlook, goals, and motivations appeared to be genuinely plausible.*
* Okay, okay; I won't lie. There would also be -minor- issues such as 'is she** hot' and 'are her movies good' that would be taken into due consideration.
** Yes, I am vaguely aware that male porn stars do exist, but come on, they aren't really stars, except for this guy. |

From what I hear, she not one of the mental case porn stars. If true, I'd not have a problem with it if she had a brain, too.

| Sure, why not? If she is qualified, meaning she has been in leadership positions in the past and is comfortable making important decisions, I don't see how her past career matters much. |

When I first read this, I wasn't entirely sure if they were talking about the United States. Maybe 80% sure, but there was that nagging 20% asking: Is there a province called "Nevada" in the PI? Is there a "Republican" Party in the PI? It's none of my business, but since when did Filipinos (pr�n stars or not) get to be elected state governors in the U.S.?

Well I guess we know where she stands on the right to bare arms.
This is so funny... as I recall that waaaay back when, I had something of a yen (in the mistaken belief she was actually Japanese  ) for this girl. Now, in light of this news, I did a quick google and found out her purported birthdate is July 3, '73 -- meaning she was all of 18 when I saw her back then. Hmm... but now that I think of it, that may well have been the dawn of Yellow Fever for me. Cheers, Mimi!
Anyway you gotta figure anybody who's taken it up the butt that many times will have no surprises in the political life. |

Haha, good point.
"We have pictures... with your clothes on" doesn't work so well, unless they're going to try to paint her as a slacker professionally (though even lay-about might not fly). |
