Hey... Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant for a decent western-style (turkey, roast beef, ham, etc.) X-mas dinner (on X-mas eve) in Seoul? We will be a fairly large group (15-20), so it would have to be a place that can seat us all preferably together or close together.... Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!!

The Hyatt used to do an awsome XMAS buffet on Christmas day for about 55k per head + drinks.

Do they actually have a turkey?
And i don't mean the crappy sliced nonsense, i mean a big fat menacing looking gobbler filled with stuffing and cranberry sauce. And roast potatoes, stuffing, yorkshire pudding, roast carrots, parsnips and gravy so thick you could put up wallpaper with it.
And christmas cake/pudding- Where can it be found???

Sorry, i got a bit carried away there.

I've had proper turkey from the intercontinetal hotel. They have seperate rooms you can book out. Didn't have any yorkshire puds etc. more of a 'standard american fare' type deal

GOBBLERS and all of the above as well as smoked hams and huge roasts of beef.

I don't know where you can XMAS cake/pudding for home consumption.

And they also had a GREAT Christmas spread at the Rocky Mountain pub last year as well for (I think it was) 25k or 35k.

Do you know if they still do this buffet? Was it usually packed out?

Hey everyone thanks for the replies! If anyone else knows of some places for X-mas dinners, please post! The suggestions so far have been for X-mas day.... any clues if there will also be din-din on X-mas eve in these places? Our group is from Gangwondo and most of us will have to be on buses back home by mid-afternoon on X-mas day....

I second the Rocly Mountain Tavern. I was there last year, the food was fabulous as was the entertainment!

Hey thanks y'all for the din-din info.. The Rock Mtn Tavern sounds lovely. However, being new to Korea and knowing nothing much about Seoul because I live in Gangwondo, could someone tell me where it's located? Thanks in advance....
