Does any one know of any good Muay Thai gyms in Seoul?
My plan is to train for a few months in Thailand, then continue practising after I return to Korea. Is this possible?
I don't want to train in Thailand only to find I can't keep my level once I get back to korea.... |

The Gym I referred to is with the Korea Muay Thai Association.
The instructor is Oh Seong Il (오 성 일)
Tel: 887-6951
I remember he had some pretty solid guys training there. I was only there once but it appeared to be a no frills gym where people spent time mastering the basics.
My other main recollection is telling him that I was interested in training from a self-defence approach rather than sport. I then told him that I don't like high kicks because my knee is not 100%. He responded by saying that its best to hammer the legs until your opponent drops to his knees...then you kick him in the head. Seemed like a good answer to me.
Unfortunately, because of work commitments, I could never make the time to train there. |
