It really isn't cost effective unless it is a rare bike that you cannot get back home. The shipping costs would be close to 800 dollars and then there is tax fees. It usually is cheaper to buy motorcycles in the states. I have found that most motorcycles here are the same price as back home. Whereas cars are much cheaper here. I am not at my home computer so I don't have the page but google shipping transport companies. They can give you a quote online. If you love the bike then do it but if a bike is a bike then just buy a new one back home. It would be cheaper I think.

If you are from Canada you CANNOT ship it home except as a very expensive shelf/display item.

I do not know about the rules for bikes going to other countries.

well, if it is only $800 to ship plus some taxes, i think it is worth shipping. if you bought it new, most of those things drop in value atleast 30% once it leaves the lot. so if it is a 5,000,000 won bike, and you resell it for say 3,000,000 won, you lose 2,000,000. compare that to the $800 shipping fee and taxes, unless the taxes are $1200 (USD) the math says it is easier to ship it. plus it is your bike, you like it, you dont need to worry about finding one you like, you have it as soon as you get back...

No, I mean it can't be imported.
The quick version is here:
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/E/pub/cp/rc4105/rc4105-e.html#P009

Vehicles originally manufactured to meet the safety standards of countries other than the United States or Canada are not allowed into Canada, unless they are 15 years or older, are buses manufactured before January 1, 1971, or are entering Canada temporarily. Before importing this type of vehicle, you must contact Transport Canada...

And the full version is here:
