I teach middle school now so it is not currently an issue. However, the first job offer I considered included teaching one kinder class in the morning. The offer included good pay and I thought it would be fun and easy to teach only one class of the little ones.
I thought all I would have to do is teach them some simple fun songs, poems, basic ABCs and 1,2,3 and smile a lot. How wrong was I? |

| Sounds fine to me. Just be prepared to adjust your teaching level according to their actual capabilities. Fun repetition is great, and if you don't mind acting like a fool (an educating fool!) for an hour a day, they can leran a lot from you. I think how you approach them can make the difference between having a total blast to fearing every moment in the class. (ah, when you want to play dirty<head games>, acting diasspointed works better than angry) |

| You've got that ONLY ONE CLASS thing in writing? If you're good at it, they'll BURY you with MORE classes. |

Kindie CAN be a nightmare, and burn you out worse than anything in teaching. BE VERY CAREFUL when agreeing to teaching just one class.
Hogwan owners and directors cannot be TRUSTED. |
