Well,

Been back "home" for a few days now...this time my wife stayed in Korea.
Here are my impressions on being back for the second time in less then six months.

1- Damn....people are fat here redux....
Sadly this applies to the kids too.... Shocked

2- Its cold but the colors are gorgeous...whats left of them..got here late.

3- Ahhh live hockey at the Corel Center...missed it.

4- Ontario is now run by the liberals...run...run...

5- The city is empty of people...no crowds...feels eerie

6- People are fat...oups...repeating myself but its shocking, bloody shocking.

7- Nice to see the Canadian open spaces.

8- SUV's the plague of western civilization....and most owners of them live in the city and never take them out into the "wild"...in fact most seem to be young professionals with no kids...yet they preach about the environment.

9- No bowing...this one always gets me.

10- Food...portions are out of control at restaurants! Also, after having the few foods I missed I find that many here eat like pigs and wonder why they gain weight... Laughing

11- Short days....the time of year for it..it seems its always dark...

12- Public Transit: abysmal in Ottawa...but that was always the case

13- TV...that is nice

14- Movies...different selection to be sure...saw a couple of movies allready.

15- Coffee...well..its nice and will stock up on beans to bring back when I get to Montreal....now that a coffee town.

Thats it for now...2 more weeks to go... Laughing

Homer-its cold enough to wear gloves, but that's it.

Now get thee to the Duke sometime after Tuesday-but not Friday, its Halloween.

Bulsajo, my fav haunt on Bishop St was Deja Vu. Sometimes Woody's if I was drunk enough to deal with the dorks in there.
I hope they take ALL your money at Super Sexe.

Homer, thanks so much for the torment! Payback will be hell.

Now both of you can kindly bugger off while I ignore that you are going to have way more fun than me this weekend.

You're in Montreal tonight, without your wife, and you're not going to the Senators-Habs game ????
