Well I am going to take the Eskimos. I think they have too many weapons this year. Hopefully Pringle will have a big game. |

Korean Lifer: hate to break it to you, but the game is in Regina, w/lots of Eskimo haters in attendance. Fierce Invalid: I'm happy to inform you that the CFL will never die. Good day. |

Like KL said, the Grey cup is in Regina this year. It's too bad the 'Riders didn't make it past Edmonton.
Even though Regina is my home town and it's in the west, I'm going to take the Al's to win.
Fierce Invalid, check out the title, "91st Grey Cup". The superbowl is what...33? 34? I can't remember and don't really care. The Grey Cup has been around longer and will continue on. I also recall that at one time, before the time of Joe Namath, that most football players preferred to play in the CFL and were paid much more than their American counterparts (too bad it's not like that nowadays).
Cheers! |

I don't hold much interest for the CFL...just prefer NFL style football. |

Yeah, I don't like the NFL either (though if I had to watch one it would be the NFL). My earlier post far overstates my concern about the CFL, I really don't care much about it either way. I'm gonna go take some anger management pills. Enjoy your game. |

I am cheering for the Edmonton Inuit. I believe Eskimos is an outdated politically incorrect term Too bad my Saskatchewan Roughriders couldn't make it. They'll win it in 2012 though. Every 23 years just like clockwork. (1966,1989,2012) |

You can't beat three-down football, a bigger field, end-zones that go forever, the single point, the quick-kick; hey, the modern NFL game derives from university challenges between modified rubgy teams from Harvard and McGill in the late nineteenth century. The Canadian game is without a doubt faster, more exciting, albeit with a shallower talent pool. And who wants to wager on the outcome of this one? I haven't followed the league this year, hard to do from here, but I'll take the Als by three. |

I remember the '77 Grey Cup when the als put staples into their cleats. Wonder if the staple gun will be as handy this time (Wouldn't want to get stepped on!)
too bad the Lions didn't make it this year. Haven't been following it much over the last half-dozen years in Korea. I'll say the Inuit by 7. BTW, will it be televised here?

I'm from Toronto where nobody cares about the CFL. Minor League. Originally from Montreal so I'll cheer for the Als. |
