Hi, I work out with free weights but I use dumbells only. Works great.

I keep them at school. You can find the weights at sporting goods stores.
Used junk shops have them too. Barbells, way too big.

I also carry 30 lbs in a back to work everyday for areobic exercise. Then I lift those weights at school and take them home on the bus.

You want them to delive your weights? You lazy puke! You are lazy fat and disgusting! You swine! Mad Your weights are your freinds! You should sleep with them and shower and eat with them. Having someone deliver your weights defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

Dumbells & whatnot seem pretty cheap here. Deliver them!?? Mmm... verdict: pansy-boy. Just joking sir. Any small sports store anywhere. Don't go to the big superstores, no need to. Just buy your stuff & throw it into the taxi (well, you might need help from the driver or some ol' lady who's passing by...). Actually, on a more serious note - I've found that I can do all my required exercises with a cheap workout bench & dumbells. It should cost you around 70,000 won (or less) for the lot. I got one of those 'ab-slider' type of rolly things you see advertized on the tv. Great for the abs, especially if you hate sit-ups.

Hey *beep*! Thanks for alienating the board. Like I said before, join a gym. They have more equipment than you could possibly buy and provide an avenue of social interaction.

For your 60kg weights Rolling Eyes just throw em in a cab if you're dead set on buying them. That really isnt that much to load into a taxi by yourself.

But you seem like a real tough guy, calling people losers. I'm sure you can handle it beefcake.

maxx power--
i wasn't directing the comment at you.
i'm sick and tired of peanut gallery comments on this forum, when all i wanted was some info. anyone who assumes i want light weights delivered to my apartment insults my intelligence, hence the strong reaction, plus i'm having a bad week.
my apologies for saying 'losers'.

It's got a lot to do with who's on the prowl, and how substantial the post is. It's pure boredom that made me read this...that said, you cats should try to not call each others pansies too much. It's just weights and sh**.

I got about 60k of weights sitting at home. I got them all at Korean versions of Walmart like Homeplus. I took them home two at a time in my back pack. (A big hiking one, regular bags would have ripped) The only time I used a taxi was when I got a longer bar with 20k on it, and I was 90minutes walk from home.

I'm leaving Korea soon, so if you're willing to come to Ansan to get them, you can have them. Weight is cheap here in Korea. But I don't like kilos because it makes it seem like you're lifting so much less. I also don't like bees. I'm a man of many emotions.

Anyway, everyone here on this board is a loser pansy. There's no need to get in a huff. Wink

Blake... lighten up will ya? Some people here give you some useful advice with a touch of humour thrown in. Posters' could tell you to get off your backside and look around your local area for weights.

yeah..sorry to the board. just wasn't in the mood to be jested at the time...as it happens i did get off my ass and do it...i thought someone might recommend a particular store.
the nearest gym is a posh 100 000won a month joint, which sure i could do, but figured i could do everything i need with free weights.
