| while i don't personally use apple products (not since the original shuffle came out and iTunes raped my computer), his influence has had far reaching effects on the industry -- for the better. hate to see him pass this early. |

| To be honest, I never liked the man. I found him to be all too smug and self-congratulating. However, I do recognize the huge impact on not only the technological landscape, but also the popular culture. He was definitely a man with a vision. |

I respect his innovation, but he was not the best human being!
he never donated any of his money to the poor! NOTHING!
you make billions of dollars, throw a little back into the community, sure he doesn't have to, but to me that's just not cool. |

Steve Jobs was no Jonas Salk. He didn't donate his technology for the betterment of humanity. He developed technology and put it up for sale.
He got paid.
He died.
