It's for talking to someone who has the same program. No more phone cards for me! I talked to my daughter in Canada for more than three hours.Very clear and no lag.You must have Windows 2000 or later.

MSN audio worked fine in korea and japan, but not to south africa. We have only one telephone/ADSL service and I think they block audio.

My parents are in South Africa (being South African) and it works fine with me. What is the name of their ISP? My parents just use 56K dialup. It only slows down when I try and use video as well. My dad is with Icon.

Goeie Middag giant. Very Happy that's interesting. my dad uses m-web. He was convinced that the ADSL service offered by telkom somehow blocked audio. got round that with Roger WIlko, a very simple but effective program. but skype is much clearer.

no - the best is ivisit.

msn does not support video on macs.

ivisit has chat rooms - all sort sof gear.

you have to pay for it but it's worth it.

works on pc, mac, unix....

ummm - and video and audio quality is superior too....

All you need is a mic (+-W2000) and a webcam (+-W50,000). I assume you already have speakers. Some people like a headset (less feedback on audio), but you dont really need a headset if you position your mic right.

Sounds cool. I think I need my mom and dad to update their system before we can message, though.
