|
|
I saw one special for 30,000 won one-way from Incheon to Osaka, though I think it might have expired.
Peach has launched its flights between Osaka (Kansai) Fukuoka and Osaka (Kansai) - Sapporo (Shin-Chitose) from March 1, 2012. Peach plans to operate new daily flights between Osaka (Kansai) Nagasaki beginning March 25, and Osaka (Kansai) Kagoshima beginning April 1, 2012.
The first international route, Osaka (Kansai) Seoul (Incheon), begins from May 8. Starting July 1, Peach launches Osaka (Kansai) Hong Kong and from Sept. 30 begins Osaka (Kansai) Taipei (Taoyuan).
Peach will continue to expand our services and grow to be Japans best low cost carrier, which will make it possible for everyone to easily enjoy reasonably priced fares any time of the year.

Just got return tickets for 370,000 for summer vacation. Apparently the really cheap seats on the deal were only from Osaka-Incheon, not the other way.... |

I hope this airline's not like Ryanair.
At least the fares aren't some ridiculous $1 fare with a $400 fuel surcharge. Hopefully. |

thanks for this....promo tickets seem to have gone
Cheapest I can find is
75,000 + taxes each way...comes to 215,000 won round trip.
Cheaper than Jeju Air (210,00= + taxes = 340,000)

Ryanscare are an awful airline...absolute crap mickey mouse airline......Airports way out in the boonies (I flew to Frankfurt Hahn, wasn't even in Frankfurt, but 2 hours away for instance near the Luxembourg border). I don't mind if it's a reasonable distance but 2 hours is ridiculous along with having the cheek to call the airport "Frankfurt".
They were even considering charging people to use the toilets and more ridiculously replace co pilot with a stewardess

Unfortunately for me, not even this budget carrier can get me interested in visiting Osaka, much less Japan. I went to Tokyo last year and gosh, what a big expense for little return. |

Yes, ryanair use that trick a lot - they fly to what is often just a military airport in the middle of nowhere served by minimal public transport, but push the name of the city and airport that people think they'll be going to and are attracted to. One extreme example was Vienna in massive font, where the small print revealed that the actual airport flown to was, in fact, Bratislava - i.e. not even in the same country!!
Ryanair have lots and lots of other really below the belt ways of fooling people to give them their money. Fortunately, none of the cheaper airlines I've come across in East Asia come even remotely close to the ryanair way of doing business. |

They'd fit right in here! "Yes, the hagwon is in Seoul. Your co-teacher is stunning. Koreans want you to marry their women." |

Did you actually believe that? If so, you are a complete fool and should not be teaching children over in Korea!!
Michael O'Leary has come out with many great sound bites in the press, but most people do not take them seriously. He is a very clever guy, and realises that if he says something controversial, it will get into the British tabloids, and people will be again talking about his company. Al publicity is good publicity, after all.
Thank you, you really have made my night now!! |

I really don't get it. 300 bucks return to fly to tokyo, but I can fly to manila for 200K return. Manila is like 3 times the distance. |

So I'm thinking of working in Korea. I was wondering where can you do long weekend away or maybe even a week holiday from there for a reasonable price per flight.
Manila cheaper than Tokyo?
What about Bangkok or other places... reasonable priced? |

Peach was kind of a crock of shiat. They announced Seoul and that fares were going on sale, but not that it was only one way until AFTER it started. Confusing (and I consider myself airline/airfare savvy...downright dorky even)!
But they finally had the sales for ICN-KIX. Cheap wasn't happening. My friend and I tried many times, one way would end up being dirt cheap then the other would be more expensive. Flash forward to 15 mins later and the other direction would be cheap, but the first one wouldn't be.
Classic "low fare low cost" airline stuff haha. |

it's not terrible. i found a return for 300K. still not cheap by any means. i was in osaka 2 months ago so i don't think i'll be using them any time soon, but still cool nonetheless. i hope they add more japanese cities on the seoul route. |
