| Grolsch is great but the other cheap foreign beers Emart sells are meh, like Oettinger and a few other no-name German or Belgian brands. |

| On regular days, the black 5,0% (generic German stuff) is the best value for money, at 1500-something. Oettinger is malt liquor, fortified beer, or some crapp. Stay away. |

Can you recommend a good Japanese beer? I've only ever tried the ones commonly available in the stores here, like Asahi, Kirin, Suntory etc and have found them all distinctly underwhelming. |
