| I just got a message saying they plan to unveil 250MB storage. I had stopped using them 'cause they seemed cheap compared to Yahoo. |

Yeah, they're bumping up to 250mb, but not yet. Yahoo also bumped theirs up, to 100mb. This is all in response to Gmail's 1GB of space.
I've been on Gmail for two weeks now. It's great. It's a lot more like an application than a website. If you get the chance to sign up, do so. There are also plenty of 3rd party apps out there that let you check your Gmail with Outlook, upload your archived Outlook mail to Gmail, etc... |

You must be invited by a current user of Gmail to get your own address. Desirable usernames are already being sold on Ebay!!!
I have a couple of invites left. The first two posters who PM me their e-mail can have one of my invites!!

Not only that, but there's no regularity to how Gmail hands out invites to give away to existing users. I've been on for almost two weeks and haven't been given any to distribute yet. Hoping it happens soon - my wife would like one, as would my dad. |

| I had invites to give out 1 week after gettting my acouunt (6) and then three days later I got one more. It's been over two weeks and no more to give away. |
