Did anyone know that James Joyce, the celebrated Irish author and one of the greatest talents to ever pick up a pen was also at one time .... an ESL teacher!!
Anybody know any other famous ESL teachers ? |

No degree? Must've taught in Taiwan (or Korea, I guess, in the pre-Ramos days). |

Huh? The Konkuk thing didn't change anything. Save for some universities checking up on their current teachers. |

Really? If I ever see my old roommate (claimed to be a descendant, had Joyce surname), I'll quiz him that one. |

It's true.
I believe that's how he made his living in Trieste, Italy while writing Ulysses.
Need to look that one up though. |
