so I was sitting in traffic today and this motorbike drives past me, and I say to myself emm I have never ridden a motorbike.. what else havent I done in my 30 years. which many people have done..
so here are a few I can think of..
what about you guys?

1: never ridden a motorbike
2: never been on a jet ski
3: never driven a luxery or sports car
4: never been in a truck
5: never flown first or business class
6: never sky dived
7: never scubadived
8: never killed an animal (hunting etc)
9: never snow boarded ( skied once)
10: never driven a boat (been in one once)

anyway yeah.. so thats some I just thought of..
what about you guys..

If I were to make up my lists of nevers, I'd get banned for using up too much bandwidth on one post.

Seems you've missed out on quite a lot, Itaewonguy...apart from flying in comfort and maybe killing an animal (do ants count?), the rest are things I've spent untold hours doing...well ok, I did a 14000ft skydive once, so a couple of minutes for that.

My list:

1) Never been to any countries in Africa
2) ditto South America
3) never stayed awake non-stop for more than 48 hours
4) never drank more than seven pints of beer in one sitting
5) never driven an American car
6) never been on TV in my own country
7) never been arrested
8 ) never kissed, dated or otherwise been involved with a Korean
9) never been sick on soju (came close though)
10) never felt any urge whatsoever to eat ���� (sp?) - aka live baby octopus...would that have counted as "killing an animal"?

My list has become dramatically shorter since I came to Korea, for better or for worse.

Youve never flown first class, IG? I get bumped to business or first class fairly often, I think. I assume it's got something to do with collecting air miles.

I've never:
- gotten lost in the woods
- been to Europe, South America or Africa (yet)
- finished reading Ulysses
- been scubadiving


There's a million billion other things but. . I'd rather go try and make that list shorter than talk about it.

I've definitely been lost in the woods. Peppermint-- give me buzz if you're in Manitoba-- I'll show you how.

Never ever done before this year:

Business class-- on the way here, and smiled all the way (my parents booked the ticket, but found there was no room in economy class, so paid the difference as a going-away gift. God bless them.)

Been in a functional submarine-- you can take a tour of a coral reef on Jeju Island. Astonishing.

Been properly drunk-- had always been quite conservative with booze, but on my 26th birthday, I went out with an Australian who had strangely persuasive songs to help me consume large amounts of soju-and-coke.

Eaten fresh pineapple and mango in its native country-- accomplished this life goal on the beach in Goa, and fed the rinds to wandering cows.

Performed with a Celtic pub band-- this was on my life-long to-do list until last week, when I was invited to play my tin-whistle with the Dust Rhinos. I couldn't really be heard over the din of the electric guitar and bass, but what the hell.


Anyway, what haven't I done? There are a few things I'd still really like to do:
-spend some time living in Africa and South America
-learn Taekwondo
-get a graduate degree
-drive a motorcycle

Great post. Here are some of mine:

1. I've never free-based cocaine.

2. I've never hidden in the park at night and strangled an unsuspecting jogger.

3. I've never tried to grow a beard or moustache.

4. I've never performed oral sex on a man.

5. I've never eaten a bicycle.

6. I've never written a vitriolic letter to the publishers of Cat Fancier magazine.

7. I've never joined a sleeper-cell unit of Al Queda.

8. I've never photographed my genitals. Not since after the age of 8, anyway.

9. I've never made love to a little person (unless my wife, who is 5-feet tall, counts).

10. I've never watched 'Memento' backwards to see if it makes any sense.

Most of these are things that I would like to do at some point, but for #5. I have never:

1. Jet-skied.
2. Water-skied.
3. Learned how to swim. I REALLY must learn.
4. Sky dived. I will, soon. I hope
5. Eaten dog. They just don't look delicious.
6. Eaten snake. I guess there could be a whole sublist of haven't eatens, so I'll stop here.
7. Gotten anyone prego. Maybe in the next year or 2. Don't worry. I won't bore you with baby avatars.
8. Been to South America, Europe, Africa, Antarctica, or Australia.
9. Gone white-water rafting. Now that would rock!
10. Snow-boarded.
