What is the Korean obsession with that slummy public school in Westwood? Every time I'm in the market-place I see fUCLA tee-shirts and apparel on display, but nothing for the Trojans. It makes me spit and curse like a drunken ajossi.

It's true, as the bruins say, you can't spell 'suck' without u-s-c, but you know what? You can't spell 'SUCK MY A--HOLE' without u-c-l-a.

Envy is unbecoming.

Did you go to the University of Spoiled Children? Too bad you don't get what you pay for.

By the way, considering that USC is smack dab in the middle of the ghetto, funny to hear talk of "slummy".

I went to the University of South Central, yes. Now, let's consider:

1. USC is the best university in the world.
2. USC has the best sports teams of any university.
3. More international students go to USC than any other American university, most from Asia.
4. First man on the moon? USC grad.
5. World gangbang record? Set at USC (by senior Annabel Chong).
6. Winner of the Heisman trophy by the biggest margin (OJ Simpson)? USC grad.

Who says I didn't get what I paid for? I think it was a better deal than my graduate school, Tulane University, whose entire alumni network was rendered homeless and unemployed a couple weeks ago by a hurricane.

Me, too. Just because I had surgery there as a little kid. Besides, my uni is too small to follow with any real seriousness... but they have been champs in their league regularly over the years.

Because you had surgery at UCLA or at USC?

UCLA has a world-class teaching hospital, together with several fine biomedical research institutions.

USC has what?

That would be UCLA. I'm still supposed to get in touch with them from time to time for their stats tracking, but never do...

Looks like UCLA *might* be able to stay in the game this year vs. USC. Shocked

The Pac-10 is the most underrated conference in all of college football. We now have 5 schools in the top 25, yet South Carolina gets more press coverage than 4 of the 5. Best team in the Pac-10 - California BABY!!!!

One of the best medical schools in the United States, that is, in the world. USC's teaching hospital has the most active E.R. in the united states, and specifically their trauma department (think gunshot wounds in LA) is unparallelled. Also, an outside shot of the USC hospital figured in the opening credits of the soap opera "General Hospital".

We're talking about the University of Southern California, my alma mater, not the University of South Carolina. *My* USC won the national championship of college football last year. And it is the leader of the PAC-10. Though I will admit, Cal is a pretty nice school and has a decent marching band.

I'm talking about the Men of Troy too but was using a shitty SEC school as an example of media exposure, they just happened to have the same acronym as Southern Cal.
