anyone else catch this on the news the other night?

CHINA airways have reduced the flights by 50% to china from korea
in hopes to boast the tourism..
korean air and asiana have also reduced their fares 50% to not be left out.
so looks like tickets to china will be around 200.000 from now..

Does anyone have any contact info. ( websites or travel agencies participating in the offer) regarding this offer. Nothing on the Korean Air or Asiana websites.

the fact that he said "the" caught your eye more than the fact that he said "boast" instead of "boost?"

I've checked Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and China Air all online, and none of them have flights for anywhere near 200,000 won.

What am I missing? Is this one way or roundtrip, and can anyone else find one of these flights for that cheap price?

Somebody posted this earlier, but KAL is offering RT tix for 200,000 from Cheongju to Shanghai. After taxes and fees it comes to something around 285,000 plus whatever a visa costs. Go to www.koreanair.com and click on Internet Special Fare, then E-Spot Sale and you can see the dates.

Korean Air have English speaking reservation staff too. The number is nearly always on the front of the Korean Times or Herald.
Probably on their website too.

Seriously, why didn't Itaewon guy just say where he got the tickets. This has BS written all over it, especially after researching it thouroughly at the thought of cheap flights.
