the get-together.. is it just me.. or did other guys notice that eslcafe poster babes are some of the most beautiful women in Korea?
I'm not targeting anyone in specific.. but just an overall impression of every single woman that was at the get-together.. and the guys weren't too bad looking either at least thats what Squaffy wanted me to say.. but Squaffy can't combat that because he's banned for the next 2 weeks.. and he wasn't actually there either!!  sorry squaffy! had to say something somewhat funny at someone's expense!! |

The beauty of the last get-together is poster babes were outnumbered by the poster boys and the girls are precious commodities there.
I had a blast. Slept in this morning, wondering what was the end of the dancing fiasco. Cautionary tale for the girls: don't wear the dainty Korean shoes when you go dancing.
And the beaver: I promise I will change my avatar, when I go back to Canada. I don't want to do Internet search in a smoky PC bang. |

Even though you aren't targeting someone specific, can I still say thank you? I'm sure the other foreign girls are with me when I say it's nice to hear every now and a again a compliment sent toward the foreign girls, rather than the 75 a day that all the Korean girls seem to get.
I had a blast by the way, and wish, in the year and a half I have been here, gone to one of these sooner. |

It is now 1.30 on a grey Sunday afternoon. I have slept sporadically. I did the wait-until-the-trains-are-running again drink fest. My head is spinning. I have dark eye-makeup on that inexplicably will not wash off. I think I was offered a job as a farm hand last night (which I'm completely up for). I met a lot of wonderful people and had so much fun that I need some Panadol. And that fact that (in general, of course) I've been called a babe is the icing on top. What a great get-together!

There are more coming, but they're giving me a hard time. A few of them didn't turn out due to the low batterie on the flash, drag.
BTW, I had a wonderful time! The only downside is someone dropped a bottle of beer and it smashed and cut my foot in 2 places. Luckily, they're pretty small. But, the blood was a drag!
Tiger Beer, I heard that you were looking for me. I'm sorry, we were a little behind. Very thoughtful of you.
Anyway, it was a very magical evening. Hoping to see you all again real soon!

we had a great time last nite. It was great too see everybody again. Just wish we were able to stay later but we old folks turn into pumpkins at midnight (actually wife was up all nite Fri and was dragging big time  ). She had a super time meeting y'all.
We'll definitely be up for the next one

Last night was brill... I managed to lose my wallet AND my phone ... but thanks to the sobriety of CLG we retraced our steps (and what the *beep* was that place with the little pool I couldn't waddle past without almost tipping into it...  ?) and I recovered both items with my all money

Great to see some photos early on!! I had a great time as well.. I went back and forth and was looking for you as well as everyone just so we didn't lose anyone who didn't want to be lost!
By the way, I ended up drinking back at Yellow Bar with Hojucandy (song game extraordinare) and the interesting Wombat babe of Ansan.. as well as the guy who lives above Yellow Bar guy!! If you know him.. as well as met GirlFromMars and her boyfriend fresh here from Portugal!!
I bet many of you didn't even know GirlFromMars was there! I didn't.. and her boyfriend had a pretty good game called 'guess where I'm from with 5 questions' kind of game.. very good!
Also Scot from HK and Pil (Connecticut Korean-American guy) were still lingering around Yellow Bar when I went back on mission.. anyhow, met many people throughout the evening.. but that was the later wee hours of the morning as many went to dance.
Sorry I didn't make it back out there either to FierceInvalid and Jackson and GangAhJee (and others). I gave out my phone number to Luke (Gang Ah jee) and Fierce (Todd), as to keep things together.. later I realized I got a couple phone calls as I was back in Yellow, but didn't answer because I didn't know my phone was ringing. Only later did I realize I missed those calls.
It was good to meet many people again.. too many to mention.. Trinny of course.. the person behind the interesting avatars and postings! and can you believe she's only here for 3 weeks!! then back to Canada!
BlueFlower who I ran into HongDae another time a few weeks ago.. and wow, the list could go on and on.. Verdette (the Indian-looking guy) who I've met a few times before.. good to see him again! I believe Trinny brought him.. good to see Denz.. wow, there is about 10 or 15 or so others I could mention so please forgive me if don't systematically go through them all.. hi to Katydid as well.. and Beaver (very funny guy!) and on and on and on.. to the Bobster! and LittleMixedGirl who had finals as Beaver kept asking her over and over.. funny stuff! And to Wombat and HojuCandy's Korean friend who was quite funny and interesting as well.. way too many people to go about mentioning here!! Lawyertood as well, Eamo, RudyFlyer, etc., etc. sorry I'm missing a whole handful here.
I still don't know who Beckerson is! |
