Seriously now.... Laughing

I'm a straight, single, Western male living in Korea -surprisingly without a criminal background, drug or alcohol addictions, or any latent homosexual tendencies- in short, I think I'm who the OP wants to hear from. So here's what I can say on this issue- listen up because this is something that women everywhere need to know...

MEN HATE DATING.

Did you get that? We hate it! To the depths of our souls we despise it. Dating is NOT fun for a man. It's expensive, frought with pitfalls, and nerve wracking. And it's expensive.

We hate playing 20 questions and being judged by you. We hate having to figure out where to take you. We hate having to appear unique and facinating and worthwhile when we're really just regular guys who want to get laid. Oh and did I mention that dating is expensive?

OP in your post you seem to indicate that you want some kind of extended dating scenario...are you serious? Is dating that much fun for you? Personally, as a man, I wouldn't want anything to do with that scenario. I can't think of a single guy that would.

OP you need to understand something- MEN HATE DATING. We just want to get to the part where we're having sex with you. Be that exclusively with you in the context of a LTR or FWB or whatever. Everything prior to that point is a cost potentially without a benefit.

Yes, women love dating and men hate it. We'll go through the motions with you but if you want us to stick around then you need to show us the finish line. You need to let us know that there's gonna be a payday sometime in the not-too-distant future. Understand this and you'll be well on your way toward aquiring a Western bf and LIGHT YEARS ahead of any K-girl out there

Hope that helped

+1 for you

And...

This. This is why I'm exactly the same on dates as I am with friends. I just go as myself and if they don't like me for who I am, then they're not going to like me five years later and whatever relationship we create is going to be based lies.

"Dating" is just a series of meetings where one or both people try to tell convincing lies. By the time the honesty comes out (sometimes after marriage), it's usually game over.

Girls that wear high heels and expect their boyfriends to always buy them stuff and do stuff for them are anti-feminist bitches. I'll buy you something to show you that I love you, not because I'm a whipped patsy.

+1 for you. Smile

Actually, yes. They put their hands inside our clothing, and touched skin.

Had I not been so flabbergasted (and tired after a 10 hour flight from Incheon) I'd have demanded it. It's perfectly within my rights. I ended up catching dermatitis.

Tow things for me...
Exploration and Acheivement.

I loved exploring new girls. What made them tick and so on. I also loved succeeding in "getting them"

My issue was always...what to do with them once I had them.

Everyone has their mountain to climb I suppose. Smile

i respectfully disagree. i think helsinki's airport is rather nice. if you want shibby international airports look to places like lax, manila, or guadalajara...

Sure, it looks nice, but I've never caught dermatitis from LAX. Putting your hands inside someone's clothing in front of people of the opposite sex, then using the same gloves (hospitals manage to buy them in bulk, and cheaply) on the next person, touching their skin, is unhygienic. ER nurses and doctors are constantly changing gloves. I don't see how this is asking for too much. I ended up having to go to the dermatologist for a steroid ointment to get rid of the rash I caught.

Fair enough. I was more insinuating what s10czar said might be the underlying driving force, even if it wasnt conscious. Though, I guess it kind of depends on timing. When youre younger, sex is not really the clear objective of the chase. Other factors, like the ones you mention, are involved (and still are when youre older).

So, in that sense, s10czars comment isnt entirely honest, but it does become the bottom line once you become aware of what drives the chase. (Then you do know what to do when you get them.) But, yeah, it's a mountain. Laughing

Anyway, not disagreeing with your comment. I like the pursuit, too. Thats half the fun. It can seem like a formality when youre outside of it, but once you meet a certain someone, the brain shuts down and you go on autopilot.

Right. Smile To me it seemed like figuring out a combination lock or solving a Rubiks cube. And when I got it, Im like, Whoa. I got it. Wait. Howd I do that?

Is that what caused your excessive facial hair growth? I'm not judging you, facial hair looks ok on some women....

Very modern, 'new age' if you will.......

I don't actually think you can 'catch dermatitis'. It's possible that it might have been shingles, but even that is highly unlikely.
However, there is a reason that these (useless) customs folks wear the gloves in the first place. Why the eff do I want you touching my body after touching others? You don't want to touch them. Why infringe in my personal space?

Make an issue of it. These TSA folks are just a front for the faux war on terror to justify the states eroding of your privacy and personal space in order to control as much as possible. Before anyone argues another side.....you know it's the truth.

They are lucky to have jobs.

I enjoy dating. It's an opportunity to try something new that you might not normally do on a regular basis. Have fun with it. Of course I want to get into the panties, but I also enjoy other activities. Smile

Good luck on your dates.

That dermatitis incident you related here happened at the open market or in public transit....are you saying you caught that more than once?

As for changing gloves after EACH passenger they pat down, good luck with that, seriously.

As one who travels a lot (like a lot of people on here) I have actually learned to feel for those TSA/airport security folks. Why? The sheer number of complete moron passengers they have to deal with on a daily basis! Laughing

Good lord, it is astounding withnessing the idiocy many passengers display at the airport!

But thats a topic for another thread!

I don't see that happening. But, why wear gloves?

As one who travels a lot (like a lot of people on here) I have actually learned to feel for those TSA/airport security folks. Why? The sheer number of complete moron passengers they have to deal with on a daily basis! Laughing

And you don't think there are an equal number of moron TSA/airport security folks?
