He has psychological issues. He literally can't admit he's wrong. Which is unfortunate.

I'm sure there are legions of posts from you, or byrddogs or say, atwood, with those words. You guys admit to ignorance and mistakes left and right.

Lastly, if I am wrong in any of those you are free to point out. But just saying "You're such a know it all" without offering any factual counterpoints is just ridiculous. For example the cosmetics in hot weather thing was a blindingly obvious answer, but rather than admit to that and say "I don't know" or "I was wrong" a few haters decided to just go with the "You're such a know it all". You don't have to know it all to have some common sense.

But you're right, I don't know much about Arrested Development.

This is one of my all time favorite SR gems of a post. Dude's self-esteem is off the charts.

More accurately described as "delusional."

Maybe IPayinCash rubbed off on him a little. (hopefully not literally) Laughing

I'll readily admit that SR knows his stuff when it comes to history.

LOL. Is this the same guy who blamed the Juche sysytem in N. Korea on Karl Marx (a bloke who despised both the nation state and ethnic nationalism). Is this the guy who you think "knows his stuff when it comes to history?" Really? SR wouldn't recognize a fact if it hit him over the head. Writing page after page on a subject doesn't make you knowledgable about that subject. Ann Coulter has written plenty of books. Bill O'Reilly has one come out every other week. Don't confuse verbosity with knowledge or understanding.

I understand what you are saying and I do remember the Juche/Marx argument. I'm pretty sure it was related to a point about blaming western ideas for certain Korean problems. I find many times when something is related to Korea that is when he goes into retard mode.

But I stand by what I said. Especially when he's talking about the two world wars. I know enough about 20th century history to know when someone is a charlatan or talking out their ass. SR knows what he is talking about and then some in regards to that subject area (and I'm sure other eras of history too). Just becuase he is a ridiculous apologist at times doesn't mean you should throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Oh, what a fine morning it is. Yuna got the silver, while that Orser guy got the gold for Japan in the men's. She richly deserved this after the way she treated her Canadian coach. "Thanks for the gold medal...You're fired." So Korean. If she kept him on she'd probably have gotten the gold again for Korea. But, as it happened, Orser dusted himself off and went out and got a gold for Japan.

Now we wait for the conspiracy theories, cries of corruption, and the ant-Russia rants.

Good times. Very Happy

Why are you gloating? Brian Orser wouldn't even make a difference. Yuna had the same jumping layout when she won OGM in Vancouver in Sochi. The only exception was she substituted her 2axel-3toe combo to 3salchow-2toe, which she had lower base values because she didn't have the 3loop the same situation in Vancouver.

Yuna winning her 2nd World title (without Orser) last year had the same TES in Sochi. She's not winning because of the base values but because of her GOE's+. Meaning the quality of her jumps.

Talked about not a figure skating fan and not reading the rules.
