Spinoza, I understand your position. America broke it, and as such they bought it. It is, from a certain perspective, totally selfish for the USA to invade and then leave once the place is broken. I somewhat agree.

BUT, them being there is making it worse. The best outcome would be a truly international peacekeeping force of several hundred thousand but that isn't going to happen. If the faux "international community" could give two shtis about Dafur, it sure isn't going to help America save face.

It is over. The mistake was made. It is a disgusting truth, but the only option is to retreat and let them sort it out for themselves.
